PODS Moving and Storage donates more than $97,000 in logistics in 2012

Jan. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- (DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.) – Using his own budget, trucks, fuel and employees, Bob Eales, franchise owner of four PODS moving and storage franchises located along Florida’s Atlantic coastline, saved nonprofits more than $97,000 in logistics costs in 2012.

Since opening his doors in 2000, Eales, owner of the Jacksonville, Melbourne, Port St. Lucie and Daytona Beach franchises, has made supporting the community a vital part of his business. Last year, PODS supported more than 20 nonprofits located in its service area throughout the year, including: Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots, Habitat for Humanity, Jacksonville Junior League, Space Coast Disability Council, Vietnam Veterans of America/Halifax Veterans and more.
