TD Charitable Foundation Supports Credit Card Management Services, Inc. with Donation

Jan. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- January, 2013 – West Palm Beach, FL – The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, recently donated a total of $5,000 to Credit Card Management Services, Inc d/b/a Debthelper as part of the bank’s commitment to giving back to the community.

Credit Card Management Services, Inc d/b/a Debthelper.com is a non-profit credit counseling and housing agency dedicated to our mission of providing compassionate and professional, financial counseling and education in an ethical manner with efficient, timely and problem-solving client support.

The funds from the TD Charitable Foundation will allow expansion of Debthelper.com’s Financial Life Skills Program through partnership with The Coalition for Independent Living Options, Inc. (CILO). CILO is an organization located in West Palm Beach, Florida, with other locations on the Treasure Coast, which has been promoting independence for people with disabilities for 23 years and provides the four core services: advocacy; information and referral; independent living skills; and peer support. Other services include victim’s advocacy, veteran’s transition services, nursing home transition services, after-school and summer programs for teens, emergency financial assistance and disability sensitivity seminars. Most of CILO’s services are free of charge to the individual.  Debthelper.com and CILO are partnering together in an effort to expand the services CILO currently offers to a vulnerable population by allowing Debthelper.com to incorporate two components of its Financial Life Skills Program (Money Management Skills Training and Budget Classes) into two existing CILO programs.
