| "Stop and Think About Guns in Your Life"- A Series of E-Books About Events From Childhood to Old AgeThis is a new memoir approach to describe how presence and use of guns influences and affects a lifetime without any initiatives from persons involved and how it develops a certain state of mind and convictions in those exposed to such experiences
Bohdan O. Szuprowicz, the author, draws almost exclusively on his own experiences. He is not a gun collector nor gun enthusiast, and has never served in any military or armed forces of any kind. The events described over a period of over 80 years, from the 1930's to the present time, were mostly unexpected and often unwelcome by the author. The objective of this memoir is to suggest that the world was, is, and will be full of weapons of all kinds and at all times. The human beings must realize that as long as they believe that the instinct to survive is the strongest, guns and other personal weapons will be with us. It is also important to realize that no matter what regulation and legislation is in place limiting or even excluding guns from specific social groups and events, it is sheer folly to expect that weapons of one kind or another will cease to exist. This becomes particularly true if nuclear terror becomes a blackmail method of choice practiced by terrorists, insurgents, and minorities seeking justice, freedom, and independence. The series consists of several E-books in preparation each reflecting a specific periods of development. These include Childhood, Teenage Years, Young Adulthood, Working Years, and Old Age. Each E-Book is being published separately but each includes a complete table of contents for all the E-books so the reader can be forewarned about what is coming next.
