Follow on Google News | Is there a hidden meaning to YHWH the name of the Lord God?There is a hidden meaning to the Name of God YHWH which the ancient Jewish people could not understand. Only after the 1800’s could the hidden meaning be revealed.
By: Peter Publishing From the historical records and archeological records provided by many researchers, who have published articles on the internet, it becomes evident that the Name of God, YHWH, was known before Abraham. It is not clear whether Mechizedek, the King of Salem, a contemporary of Abraham was aware of the name YHWH and its pronunciation. It is clear that Mechizedek did believe in One Almighty God and was a priest of a religious order believing in one God. All the research into origin of the name YHWH does indicate that the name YHWH predates Abraham and there were two main religious teachings in existence then. One group of people believed in many gods and another group of people believed in one God. Abraham and Mechizedek belonged to the latter. The difficulty in discerning the hidden meaning of YHWH was in the vocalization of the name YHWH. Ancient Jewish script, including the Old Semitic script, was written without vowels. Hence, the alphabets in the script of YHWH could be pronounced as Yah Hud Vah Hud which is the pronunciation commonly accepted by many scholars today. It could also be pronounced as Yah Hud Wah Hud, the Vah and Wah sounds being represented by the alphabet ‘W’. Dr. Peter Achutha says, “The hidden meaning becomes self-evident when YHWH is pronounced with a Wah sound. In fact you can see how the Lord God has made his plan work from earlier then Abraham’s time to today by carefully listening to the sound of YHWH.” Please refer to Dr. Peter’s explanation of the hidden meaning of YHWH at his website http://bachutha.com/ End
