Rahm Emanuel Honors the Concierge of Chicago with Concierge Day on January 31st
For the third year in a row, Mayor Rahm Emanuel has designated a day for honoring the important work of concierge around the city of Chicago.
The economic impact of Chicago’s concierge cannot be overstated, with nearly 5 million referrals including over 1.3 million dining recommendations, 1.1 million shopping suggestions, and 1.2 million referrals to the myriad cultural events and attractions going on year round throughout the Chicagoland.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel notes, “Chicago’s concierge contribute to the overall experience of our visitors thus playing a major role in their return and sustaining the tourism industry.”
