Heads & Tails Beauty Boutique Celebrates One Year-Anniversary in Philadelphia
Philadelphia’s very first blow out and waxing salon, Heads & Tails Beauty Boutique is celebrating their first year in business.
Heads & Tails has opened their doors in Philly to an extremely welcoming atmosphere. The beauty boutique made Philadelphia Style Magazine’s 2012 Hot List for Best Blow-Dry Bar as well as My PHL 17’s 2012 Best of Hot List for Best Wax. Philadelphia Style Magazine also wrote an editorial on the salon, highlighting its unique business model of only offering blow outs and styling with no cuts or color as well as full body waxing. Heads & Tails also has a solid 5 out of 5 rating on Yelp, a website where customers rate businesses in their city.
“This place is nothing short of astounding. I went in for my first Brazilian and decided to get a blow-out as well. These women are incredible in every way, from their work to their personalities. I've never felt more comfortable and relaxed under such intimidating circumstances (THANKS JENNE!). Oh, and they're both comedians, so be ready to laugh the whole time you're here :) Cannot wait to go back!” –Yelp Reviewer, Laura J.
The salon has also hosted multiple events including a jewelry party with celebrity stylist, Arnold Milfort, a Night of Beauty with Lacquer Lounge, an Ugly Holiday Sweater Food Drive for Philabundance and several others. Multiple media outlets have profiled the blow out and waxing bar, with the most recent being a television feature on ABC 6 Action News with Alicia Vitarelli. Heads & Tails has earned recognition from a large amount of local press in their first year and will continue to expand their reach in 2013.
Heads & Tails Beauty Boutique is having an event to celebrate its one year anniversary in late February. It will be a large event with several big announcements. More details will be released closer to the date.
