Being at Peace with Food CD Offers Sensible, Mindfulness-Based Weight Loss Exercises
Easy-to-follow mindfulness-inspired practices are designed to help modify behaviors and thought patterns surrounding food and frustrations with weight loss.
Other wellness systems focus exclusively on diet with the assumption that our difficult food behaviors are driven by a lack of dietary knowledge. However long-term, successful weight loss and wellness programs begin with examining and shifting our behaviors and thought patterns that drive our difficult relationships with food and overall wellbeing.
The meditations and contemplations on Being at Peace with Food address the areas in our lives that we can shift to ensure we make meaningful decisions and changes toward a balanced, healthy life including:
- Stress management
- Sleep issues
- Negative eating habits
- Managing difficult emotions around eating and body image
“I’ve had the amazing privilege of watching people move through a process that helps them make peace with food,” said Brandt Passalacqua. “When we gradually shift away from negative ideas and habits surrounding food and weight loss our whole world opens up. We feel in control of our mind and body. We take better care of ourselves. Illness and addiction no longer dominate our lives. Most importantly, we achieve these states through gradual, sensible changes instead of gimmicks, magic pills or no pain/no gain programs.”
The contemplations and practices on Being at Peace with Food can easily be introduced into one’s daily life. No prior meditation experience or mindfulness training is required.
