-- Fort Myers, FL – Suncoast Identification Solutions, a plastic card and key tag printer in Southwest Florida, has adopted a more environmentally friendly alternative to PVC and vinyl plastic card manufacturing. The company uses a product called teslin in the manufacturing and production of their plastic card products.
Previously, PVC was a popular material in the plastic card industry, due to low cost and durability. According to Corey Savage, Director of Business Operations, the decision to switch to teslin was a simple one: "Teslin is significantly more flexible than PVC, highly printable and has less environmental impact in production. We're very happy to be doing our part in being a more green company overall."
Suncoast Identification Solutions is a leading manufacturer of custom printed membership cards, key tags, gift cards, loyalty cards, business cards, magnets rulers and menus. The company has been in the plastic card industry for over 20 years.
