Idea Rebel and WestJet Partner for "Oprah Contest"

Idea Rebel and WestJet partnered to create a Facebook contest that gives fans the chance to meet the iconic talk show host, Oprah.
Dec. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- WestJet was looking for a way to increase their Facebook presence while also giving users the chance to win an awesome experience. They asked Idea Rebel to create a Facebook contest that gave users the chance to spend an evening with Oprah.

Users can go to the WestJet page on Facebook and “like” the company. New fans are instantly entered into the contest that could take them and a friend to meet Oprah in Calgary. There are 5 chances to win this trip for two on January 22nd, 2013. The lucky winner of the grand prize will receive airfare to Calgary, two nights accommodation, two VIP tickets to the event and a private reception with this iconic woman.

The contest has been massively successful, creating almost 30,000 new fans and counting. There have been 47,000 entries, with the contest closing on December 14th.
