Doc Adams Wines Brings McLaren Vale Grape Growing & Winemaking To Harvest Festival McLaren Vale
Doc Adams award winning wines from the McLaren Vale wine show will be on tasting and available for purchase at the showcase event; 12 January, 2013.
The Festival is a celebration of diverse food, wine, music and the arts from the McLaren Vale region. The annual event attracts local families and individuals who enjoy the fun and exquisite tastes of the region’s world class wines and tantalizing gourmet food. The 2013 Festival theme is ‘Fleurieu Flavours' which celebrates and showcases the European heritage of the region. Festival goers adore the opportunity to sample the best of European culture in an enjoyable international atmosphere.
Doc Adams Wines was recently awarded a trophy and two gold medals at the Cartesian McLaren Vale Wine Show in 2012, for their 2010 Shiraz. The successful winemakers were also awarded a four star rating from James Halliday in his latest edition of Wine Companion 2012. Doc Adams Wines is also known for sponsoring and participating in many other local events and sporting clubs around the Mclaren Vale region.
The combination of food, wine, music and a friendly vibe in an outdoor setting, with the tremendous wines of Doc Adams is sure to make the festival and weekend a delight for visitors and a weekend like no other. The day extends into the evening with a great line-up of bands performing in an open air concert.
