Dec. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Work performed includes geological studies, geophysical data and surveys, and the supervision of drilling. Geo9 aims to use these methods to cut down on the amount of drilling, environmental, and construction dangers.

The team uses a 3 phase process to achieve these goals.

The first phase is the groundwater report. This is when the geologist looks up various factors pertaining to the property including rocks, climate, known bores, structure, and groundwater resources. This information is used to determine the likelihood of success. The results are told to the client and a physical examination is discussed via telephone or video conference.

The second phase is the on-site exploration. In this phase, the geologists come to the property to do further research on the property. Survey spots and geological technologies are named during this phase. A report is prepared explaining the results of the surveys and the areas and depths of drilling if any drilling is suggested.

The third phase is groundwater and drilling management. This calls for the geologists to make sure that the correct drilling techniques are being used. If there are different discoveries than those predicted by the research, then Geo9 does the appropiate steps to make the method geared towards the new discovery. The driller is familiarized with the circumstances and best approach for the drilling beforehand. The driller is also supervised while working. Water levels are recorded and rock samples are stored. This is to gain a better understanding of the property to ensure the most efficient work.

Geo9 uses these phases to give the best possibility of drilling success and finding groundwater.

Geo9 (http://www.geo9.com.au/9steps.html) has a team consisting of 9 members. Paul Ferguson is a chief exploration geologist who has been a senior geologist for over 20 years. James Luders is an exploration geologist with over 20 years of experience. Michael Cook is the GIS manager and research geologist with over 10 years of experience. Maya Syndney is the directing manager and has access to geophysical and geological information.
