Sarah Lowell, professional dog trainer
-- KELLER, TEXAS—When Doggy Day Care and training facility Praiseworthy Pups unexpectedly closed its doors last week, Champion Dog Trainer Sarah Lowell stepped up to meet the challenge of helping out dozens of area dog owners who were in the middle of classes. Lowell, who joined the staff at Praiseworthy Pups in 2010, was one of several contract employees caught off guard by the closing of the doggy day care and training facility.
Known for her passion for training as well as concern for her students, Lowell quickly became the go-to person for students who had been left in the dark by the owners of Praiseworthy Pups and began contacting students and working to secure new locations for puppy, obedience, rally and agility classes.
“It’s been a hectic few days, but it looks like we’ll be able to get back to training quickly. It’s been really gratifying to see how dedicated my students are and their patience through this process has been just wonderful.” Lowell said.
