KINGQUEEN set to release "Get Loud"

Dec. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- KINGQUEEN is a rock band based out of Los Angeles, Ca..  It began 2 years into Sabrina’s MTV Music Videos and LOGO TV and performing at the AMA’s coca cola lounge.  She was so immersed into the music scene in such a way that she lost track of her goal and what she truly wanted to do in her life.  Sabrina Petrini decided to take a few steps back away from the crazed music scene but also away from her recording label along with her manager.  It was a move that she needed to do to center herself and re-evaluate her goals in life ultimately bringing the passion back which was lost somewhere along the way.

It was a meeting with Kim Fowley (Joan Jett, GNR, Kiss) that Sabrina was convinced that she found the outlet she was looking for.   Kim brought her into the recording studio and together co-wrote “It’s My Life” featuring Noizee (Marky Ramone).  

Sabrina spent September 2011 through January 2012 experimenting with different sounds of music from electro to hard rock and found a clever way of fusing her European roots with American.  This is what she needed, what she hoped for and now under the band name KINGQUEEN is able to flourish without boundaries and create extraordinary music to the delight of fans all over the world.   What developed was “Get Loud” (set for release on December 12, 2012).

Giving fans a taste of things to come, KINGQUEEN releases a single “Roller Coaster” which is a fast paced, loud vocals, high voltage, drum pounding, guitar licking song that will knock your socks off.   It has catchy verses and is surely memorable!  It does have a sound reminiscent to Joan Jett but Sabrina absolutely carries her own music, owning it from the first note to the last.  “Roller Coaster” is a view into the music and the minds of these extraordinary musicians.  The song’s tender entrance gives way to a thunderous rock sound.

KINGQUEEN looks at the positive side of things that are negative and they deliver that message loud and clear.  They keep their fans vigilant by demonstrating their versatility creating unique, out-of-the-box, outrageously beautiful music that ranges from a softer touch to a hard-core rock sound.    Their music is an adventure and audiences are best to buckle themselves in for a ride of a lifetime.
