Storyteller/Magician Richard Hatch
-- In a statewide holiday promotion on Monday, December 3rd, Utah's 18 Kneaders Bakery and Cafe locations will feature professional storytellers from the Utah Storytelling Guild in free performances of "The Gingerbread Man" and other holiday favorites. The storytellers will perform from 7 to 8 p.m. at locations from St. George in the south to Logan in the north. Logan's Kneaders (1675 North Main St, North Logan, Utah, 435-245-8810)
, which opened just over a year ago, will feature storyteller and magician Richard Hatch of the Hatch Academy of Magic and Music in Logan. "In addition to the stories," says Hatch, "I promise to make some cookies disappear! I've been practicing that most of my life."
Kneader's is a Utah-based restaurant franchise specializing in gourmet sandwiches, soups, salads, pastries and European hearth breads. The first Kneaders opened in Orem in 1997 and it has since spread throughout Utah and into Idaho and Arizona with future locations planned in Oregon and Colorado.
