Follow on Google News | CRA Hosts 3rd Annual Light Up MLK Holiday EventThe City of Pompano Beach NW Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will host the 3rd Annual Light Up MLK Event on December 1st 2012 at Annie Adderly Gillis Park. This free community event will take place from 5:00-7:30 pm with tree lighting at 7pm.
Saturday December 1st 2012 Annie Adderly Gillis Park 601 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard 5:00PM – 7:30PM The City of Pompano Beach NW Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will host the 3rd Annual Light Up MLK Event on December 1st 2012 at Annie Adderly Gillis Park. This free community event will take place from 5:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. with the ceremonious tree lighting scheduled to take place at 7:00 p.m. This family friendly event includes live entertainment including musical and dance performances by local community performers. Santa will spread his jolly good cheer throughout the park while handing out candy and taking holiday gift wishes from kids. All event attendees can enjoy complimentary hot dogs and non-alcoholic beverages, interactive festivities including holiday cookie and art decorating, and for the first time a snow play area where both adults and kids can join in on the fun.
