Boston Startup Record Label Releases First Album on Cassette

Nov. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- On November 15th, HEY WTF Records, a startup record label run by 5 students from Northeastern University selling music on cassette tapes, released Groove Carnival's debut album, “One Monkey Don't Stop The Show”. The album marks the first publication for both HEY WTF and Groove Carnival, a groove rock/pop band from Asheville, NC.  

Building off of the strength of its lead single “Miss Stevens”, “One Monkey Don't Stop The Show” has already met with stellar reception and radio airplay across the east coast. The album features a unique mix of backbone bass, island flair, driving riffs, and riveting beats, making for a groovy and fun listen with something fresh on every track. “We're extremely excited to have our inaugural release be such a solid album full of great music and songwriting” said label founder Ryan Lucht. “These songs are sure to get stuck in our fans' heads for days.”
