Needham Bank premiere sponsor of Newton Needham Chamber of Commerce Achievement Breakfast

Nov. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- A proud sponsor of the Newton Needham Chamber of Commerce, Needham Bank, with branches throughout the greater Boston area was recently represented at the Chamber’s Annual Achievement Breakfast by Vice President of Marketing Eric Morse who delivered a well-received address about the value of shopping locally.

Needham Bank was the premiere sponsor of the Nov. 14th breakfast, held at the Needham Sheraton. Attendees were encouraged to sign the Chamber’s “Shift Three Pledge,” a vow to purchase at least three items locally this holiday season.  The pledge is part of a seven-week Shop Local for the Holidays campaign designed to educate residents about the many benefits of supporting local merchants, restaurants and service providers.

“We each have a vote or one share, if you will, in shaping the community in which we live,” said Morse during the annual achievement breakfast.  “Community banks are at the financial epicenter of Newton and Needham. If you believe in buying local then banking should be part of that commitment and you’ll choose a local bank.  Where you bank does make a difference.”
