Unity Bank Opens Doors at New Somerset Branch in Cedar Grove Centre

(November 19, 2012) – Unity Bank has opened a new full-service branch at 120 Cedar Grove Lane in the Somerset section of Franklin Township, its second Somerset County branch and 15th overall. Located in the Cedar Grove Centre strip mall at the intersection of New Brunswick Road, Unity Bank has leased a pre-existing bank building that was vacant for two years.

The bank will have two grand opening celebration days on Saturday, November 24 and Saturday, December 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both days. During each grand opening event, a no purchase necessary 64GB iPad giveaway drawing will be held. There will also be two “Blizzard of Dollars” contests each day, when randomly selected attendees will have 60 seconds in the Unity Bank cash machine and walk away with as many bills as they can grab in a minute. There will also be free food and refreshments throughout the grand openings as well as free balloon animals and face painting by Lulu the Clown.

Unity Bank signed a long-term lease with property owner Jemstone Group of New York City for the 3,000-square-foot, freestanding, one-story building. The building interior was completely renovated by Security Products Systems of Sparta, N.J., a specialist in financial services building design and construction that has completed multiple facility projects for Unity Bank over the last 10 years.
