Laser Beam Analysis Apparatus Patent Awarded

The U.S. patent (No. 8,237,922 B2) has claims for enabling analysis across the entire optical spectrum from deep UV to far infrared of the laser beam emitted from a laser source.

The Haas Laser Beam Analyzer System, commercially introduced in 2010, monitors the laser beam profile providing early warning of any problems with the laser and entire beam delivery optical system. This relates to increased quality, process reliability, and reduced scrap.

In every laser application, the laser beam profile provides valuable information such as the laser beams spatial profile, circularity, centroid, astigmatism and M-squared values. The Haas Laser Beam Analyzer System includes Software, Cameras, Beam Reduction Optics, Attenuation modules and filters which enable “real-time” laser beam measurement, analysis and monitoring of high power CW and pulsed lasers.
