Sound Fighter Systems Attends INCE Inter-Noise 2012 Conference in NYC

Nov. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Sound Fighter Systems (http://www.soundfighter.com/)’ (SFS) VP of Marketing & Sales, Murray Stacy, and Regional Sales Manager, David Poindexter, attended Inter-Noise 2012, the 41st International Congress and Exposition on Noise Control Engineering (http://www.internoise2012.com/), held in New York City on August 19th – 22nd. The Congress was sponsored by the International Institute of Noise Control Engineering (I-INCE), and was organized by the United States Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE-USA).  

This event is one of the largest acoustics conferences and a worldwide consortium of organizations concerned with noise control, acoustics and vibration. The theme of the congress was “Quieting the World's Cities,” and featured special workshops highlighting city noise codes, and the New York City noise code in particular.  

The conference was the largest InterNoise ever and featured 1063 technical papers, 1485 registrants, and 68 exhibitors - all record amounts. This year they had several ‘mini-conferences’ including:
