The 50 Best Restaurants in the WorldOrganised by Restaurant magazine, World's 50 Best Restaurants list is an annual snapshot of the opinions and experiences of over 800 international restaurant industry experts.
By: Woodcon For the third year in a row, Copenhagen’s Noma claimed the title of best place to eat in the world for the third year in a row while UK has claiming three spots in the top 15. Heston Blumenthal’s Dinner, located at the Mandarin Oriental in London, made it into the top 10 at number nine. His signature restaurant in Bray, The Fat Duck, claimed 13th place, with the Ledbury of London coming in at 14. Surprisingly, no French restaurants made into the top 10, while Spain’s El Celler de Can Roca, Murgaritz and Arzak claimed second, third and eighth place, respectively. There is absolutely no criterion that a restaurant has to meet to make the list. They do not need to have been open a certain number of years and they do not need to have won any other culinary accolades. “While Michelin offers a comprehensive city-wide guide around the world, and Zagat covers most of the U.S., neither company attempts to rank the entire world in one list. Still there are plenty of discrepancies between Michelin and the World's 50 Best. Noma, for example, has two -- not three -- Michelin stars,” writes huffingtonpost.com. Whether or not we consider it a credible ranking of the world's top eateries, it’s a fact that all those restaurants need a marketing strategy to attract more customers. Marketing your business involves informing the public about promotions you might have, special menu and drinks, and even merchandise. You can integrate them in the restaurant menu display. The most common we see are menu display stands placed outside the restaurant. Stainless steel menu holders are the best choice for harsh outdoor environment. The simple elegance of the hand-finished wooden display easels will help your menu get noticed. For more information please visit Woodcon's website at: http://www.woodcon.co.uk/ End
