Online Donations to Art: Actors Pitch New Project

“Requiem for the Night," a new vampire movie project that has a brand new and unique take on the vampire mythos, continues to move forward.

Nov. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- This past weekend, recognizable actors made the case for donations to art through an indiegogo.com campaign to raise funds toward the development of the first ever, Israeli vampire movie.

Actors featured in the pitch video include:

   *Ami Weinberg (Steven Spielberg’s “Munich”)
*Alon Dahan (” A Matter of Size”, and “The Syrian Bride”)
*Oded Menaster (“The Golden Pomegranate“, “Like a Fish Out of Water“)
*Shlomit Mandel (German director, Maria Schrader’s “Liebesleben“)
*Yinon Sapir (Adam Sandler’s “You Don’t Mess With the Zohan” )

The project is headed up by Israeli director, Will Blesch, who noted “We plan on our project being one of the top vampire movies, and this pitch video is actually just one version made specifically for our crowdfunding efforts. We have other versions which we’ll be using in our efforts to hook private investors as we move forward. We’d love to gain the interest of all those who believe in donating to art and in helping art projects gain lift-off.”

The vampire movie project is raising some initial funds through a crowdfunding campaign that can be found at:

Funds raised during the crowdfunding campaign will go toward development expenses.

Mr. Blesch also said: “Right now we’re in the process of looking for a business partner (or partners). We have a number of businessmen we’re talking to, but we’d like to invite business people, entertainment attorneys, investment bankers etc. with an interest in the arts to contact us.

Since we are an Israeli production, we’d love to also gain the interest of the Jewish community in America and around the world.

Let’s give the vampire genre a kick in the ass and show the world that our blood suckers come from a place viewers have never been before.”
