Unstoppable Family Featured on MYei5

Oct. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Rhonda and Brian Swan from the Unstoppable Family have been featured on the Emotional Intelligence blog MYei5 about their inspirational story, which saw them quitting the corporate rate-race to become world traveling "Freedom-Preneurs"

The article, entitled "Unstoppable Success! Emotional Intelligence Flies High with the Swans" examines the family's Unstoppable Story and lists them as examples of Emotional Intelligence in action.

Rhonda, Brian Swan are currently 'living and giving' while exploring the world and raising their daughter at the same time.  

The feature, written by MYei5's Mandy Love, reads: "We love the Swans “unstoppable giving” attitude, and even greater they are just like you and me. They have a family, have dreams, and more importantly they have redefined the “American Dream” lifestyle. Brian and Rhonda created a way to live a successful life in all areas and most importantly, successful for their 5 year old daughter Hanalei. Their example of Emotional Intelligence is an inspiring story of what is possible for everyone!"

The Swans once worked in the corporate world earning six-figure salaries and accumulating  possessions. However they soon realised that the so-called "American Dream" wasn't necessarily their dream at all. Their jobs left them feeling emotionally hollow, so they decided to radically change their lives and set up a mobile business in personal development, teaching people to create wealth and live their dreams.

Like many successful entrepreneurs though, the Swans had to overcome major obstacles. They invested money in a golf course and property development, but the money disappeared and the golf course was never built, resulting in an expensive court battle. The Swans lost a lot of money, sold their homes and decided that they could either stay and rebuild their lives in San Diego, or pursue their dream to travel the world and let go of their material things.

In the interview for MYei5 Rhonda said: “I came from a middle class family and having things and gaining things and buying things was always a big deal. As I started to gain my own wealth, having things became important to me.”  

We felt like hamsters in a wheel, only seeing each other on our way to and from work. Yes we had material things; nice cars, luxury homes…but what we didn’t have was the freedom to travel and do the things we dreamed of doing.”

Inspired by the 4-hour work week, Rhonda and Brian packed their bags and embarked on an Endless Summer Journey around the world. They swapped their business suits for bathing suits and their offices for hammocks, so they could live the lifestyle they have always dreamed of.

"We left the houses, cars and things behind to go to these other countries that have nothing monetarily, yet they actually have everything that they need, and we realized that we really do always have what we need all around us; food, shelter, water, love, each other, and peace” Rhonda said.  

As part of their new "Traveling with a Purpose" initiative, The Unstoppable Family have launched two exciting new projects: Shirt for a Shirt and Educate Yourself, Educate a Child.

Every time someone purchases an Unstoppable Family T-shirt from their website http://giveunstoppable.com they donate a T-shirt to a child in need.

Similarly, for every Educational Program purchased, 50% of the proceeds are donated to help educate a child.  

Rhonda states; “What I found is that my true purpose in life is helping others see that although getting through obstacles can be tough, if you truly believe in yourself and have support, you can truly do anything.”
