The company was founded in 1955 by Jack Schlegel and George Stieglitz, both of whom are still involved with the company today. The day-to-day operations of the company are in the hands of Evan Stieglitz, President, and Tom Brodsky, Executive VP/Treasurer. The company services over 5,000 customers and employs 225 people.

Century Fasteners Corporate headquarters is located in Elmhurst, New York. The Company currently has 15 computer linked branch stocking locations throughout North America.
