Sun Marble to Participate at Local Charity Event

Oct. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Sun Marble is pleased to announce a generous contribution to SAVE Inc.'s inaugural SAVE HomeComing party, a charity benefit expected to raise thousands of dollars to help Kansas City's less fortunate.  The family owned, Lenexa KS based marble and natural stone wholesaler will be offering a $300 gift certificate, which attendees could bid on at silent auction during the event.  The gift certificate may be used to purchase a variety of pre-fabricated stone surfaces, including bathroom vanities or granite and marble tiles.  All proceeds from the SAVE HomeComing party will go towards SAVE Inc.'s housing and rental assistance initiatives.

Founded in 1986, SAVE, Inc. began as an eight-bedroom hospice for AIDS patients.  It has since expanded to become the lead+ing social service housing agency in Kansas City. Serving a 15 county radius, SAVE Inc. spends nearly $325,000 a month on housing assistance for medically or socially disadvantaged families.


The SAVE Homecoming party, which will take place on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Pennway Place will be SAVE, Inc.'s first self-organized and benefiting event, designed to honor not only their own mission of helping Kansas City's underprivileged, but also the contributors who make this possible.  This year's theme is a Masquerade Party, and the timing could not be better with the party taking place the Friday before Halloween.


The party will include a live DJ with dancing, an open bar with signature cocktails, and delectable treats catered by some of the Kansas City area's greatest chefs.  There will also be an Art Walk featuring works by local artists showcasing what home means to them.  Besides Sun Marble, other local companies will also be contributing products for silent auction.
