Benny’s Chop House’s Latest Additions to Past Presidents Menu

Benny's Chop House in River North continues to introduce new menu items for its Past Presidents promotion. Based on past president's favorite foods, Benny's chefs have curated special dishes to celebrate election season.
 
Oct. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- As we near the end of the presidential election season, Benny’s Chop House (444 N. Wabash Ave., Chicago; 312-626-2444) honors some of the most memorable commanders in chief with its Past Presidents menu. For the past few weeks leading up to the election, Benny’s has introduced a range of new menu items inspired by past presidents’ favorite meals.

For the third round of this historic menu (through Sunday, October 28), Benny’s
Executive Chef Jonathan Lane has developed specials to honor the past presidents Gerald Ford, Lyndon B. Johnson and Bill Clinton.  As a starter option, Chef Lane commemorates the 38th president with Gerald Ford’s Bib Salad with Black Pepper French Dressing ($12.99). For a main entrée you can feast on Lyndon B. Johnson’s Beef Tenderloin with Garlic Spinach ($37.99). Lastly, Pastry Chef Aaron Lindgren finishes off this presidential menu with a sweet ending of Bill Clinton’s Huckleberry Crisp (8.99).

Election Day is just around the corner and Benny’s welcomes you to its River North chop house to embark on this presidential journey with them.  

All previous past presidents menu items, will remain on the menu through fall.
