Oct. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Washington DC - - “The Last Witch,” an episode of “The R.I.P. Files” filmed on location at Ferry Plantation in Virginia Beach, VA, will have its global premiere on October 27th, 2012, during the “Stroll of Lost Souls” Halloween event at Ferry Plantation.

The R.I.P. Files” follows the adventures of the female-led Research and Investigation of the Paranormal (R.I.P.) team, based in Washington DC. The television series is represented by New Dominion Pictures LLC for worldwide distribution. New Dominion Pictures, based in Suffolk, VA, produces and distributes “A Haunting” and many other successful documentaries and reality shows.

The unusual investigators of “The R.I.P. Files” use their psychic abilities and their deep knowledge of metaphysical techniques to make contact with the resident spirits at haunted locations. They encourage these entities to share their stories in their own words through amazing evidence that is bridging the gap between the worlds of science and spirituality.

The episode, which will be shown at 8:00 pm, 9:00 pm, 10:00 pm, and 11:00 pm on October 27th during the “Stroll of Lost Souls” event, includes more than a dozen examples of Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVPs), otherwise known as spirit voices. R.I.P. captured these spirit voices during their investigation and the group estimates that there are many disembodied entities still in residence at beautiful Ferry Plantation.

At Ferry Plantation, the investigators of “The R.I.P. Files” meet the ghost of Henry, a former slave who does his best to scare them off. Lisa’s newly awakened psychic abilities warn her that Henry wants her to leave and she becomes so uncomfortable that she is unable to remain in Henry’s attic room. Mark and Pat are also aware of Henry’s presence, but are able to communicate successfully with him. Later, Pat uses dowsing rods and authentic gourd rattles to contact the Native American guardians of the land, while Rene encounters a representative of the Powhaten Confederation. In the Best Parlor, Malinka shares her love of music with the sprits in the room where Thomas Jefferson once played the violin and the pianoforte.
