Alcatraz Storage®, a Fishers, Indiana Based Self Storage Company, has issued a Cease & Desist demand to Kevin Rollings, a former employee of Alcatraz Storage® for using its brand in commerce without permission nor license. “I chose the name and developed the logo myself in 2007, and we began using it at one of our facilities in Muncie Indiana in April of that year” says Scott Meyers, President of Alcatraz Storage®. Alcatraz Storage® is a registered trademark in the State of Indiana, with Scott Meyers listed as the owner, and has been in continuous use at several of his Self Storage Facilities and in his investment & education companies since April of 2007. “Multiple requests for a license agreement, and subsequent requests to discontinue using the brand went unanswered, which forced us to issue the Cease & Desist notice against Kevin Rollings, our former manager” Said Meyers
