Lewis & Taylor Shirt Makers – Launch a new website

Oct. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Lewis and Taylor have decided to launch a website to allow more people to benefit from shirts made with fantastic fabric and great tailoring. After a number of years supplying exclusive clients their custom made shirts,  Ed Rossiter from Lewis and Taylor said ‘we know people who wear our shirts really enjoy the experience so we thought it was time to share our expertise and grow’.  

Lewis and Taylor have spent time understanding how their clients actually buy their shirts and have tried to create the same experience on the web site.   As Ed explains ‘people usually find a style of cut they love and then the ask us if they can have another (and another) shirt with exactly the same cuffs, collar and size but just change the fabric and the buttons’.    With this in mind the website has been created allowing customers to create ‘recipes’ for the basic cut of the shirts they like.  These can be re-loaded on subsequent visits to the site making the whole experience closer visiting your tailor.

Hong Kong is a centre for bespoke clothing excellence with access to the best European fabrics and a long history of craftsmen making high quality products.  Ed Rossiter and his team are passionate about cotton (they even insist on cotton labels) and understand that the fabric and the cut are the basics you have to get right for a shirt.  Their shirts are crafted using 10 body measurements to ensure a great fit.

Although there are a lot of shirt websites, Lewis and Taylor feel the intuitive simplicity of their site combined with a wide and growing range of high end fabrics they offer will make the experience of ordering on-line shirts as simple as going to a tailor in Hong Kong.
