ooVoo: Android videochat with up to four simultaneous connections

Oct. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Oovoo, the video calling and instant messaging application that came as a rival of Skype and has occupies much of the VoIP market, has released a new version that will be talking about. If anything we like about Google+ are hangouts. The ability to share a video conversation with many people gives another additive to video calling.

The update gives Oovoo new functionality that already existed in the desktop versions and Facebook. On these platforms, we are able to video chat with up to twelve people simultaneously. Earlier in the mobile application, we could only see a video screen. Like a normal video call question. In this new version, have included support for viewing video from up to four people on screen. A great additive, no doubt. Moreover, as to all named sum, this new service also is available on iOS (iPhone 4, iPad, new iPad).

Although there is the option of having a video call up to twelve users simultaneously,  now see four screen. Which we can change at will.

Other features available, and have been included in this new version are: the ability to use text chat during a call video, support for push notifications, a record for text and video chats, and the ability to start one new chat from the messaging  "tab".

To the above, add a new widget that will save a good response time and greater integration with the phonebook and contacts of our Android. Something that was highly demanded by some.

Undoubtedly, Oovoo keeps growing. And if it continues, may unseat achieve its main competitors. Being platform and giving a great service, not be surprising that the number of users go up from the 54 million it currently has.
