PRLog -- PROFILES Host Mickey Burns sits down with singer Adam Ant, one of pop music’s most vibrant figures in the last 25 years. In the 80s “Adam and the Ants” had three #1 hits while Adam was voted the “Sexiest Man in America” by viewers of MTV. Now, after a 15-year hiatus from the music business, he’s back with a new band called: “The Good, The Mad and the Lovely Posse.”
As part of the New Wave British Invasion of the 80s, “Adam and the Ants” took America by Storm with such hits as “Goody Two Shoes” and “Prince Charming.” By the 90s, suffering from exhaustion along with bipolar disorder, Adam left the music scene and focused his attention on acting for television and film roles.
Today, after a 15 year period away from music, he’s back with new bands which have received great reviews here in the U.S. and throughout Europe. He also speaks frankly about his bipolar disorder, simply to help others suffering from the same ailment.
