BENTEK: Five-year natural gas production forecast available in the Forward Curve Quarterly

U.S. natural gas production continues to increase year-over-year, driven by growth in the Northeast Marcellus Shale and tempered by declines in the Haynesville Shale.
Oct. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- EVERGREEN, CO (October 8, 2012) – BENTEK’s Forward Curve Quarterly reports U.S. dry gas production is approximately 3 Bcf/d higher in 2012 versus year-to-date 2011.  Much of the growth in U.S. natural gas production is being driven by supply increases in the Northeast region, which BENTEK expects to continue over the next five years.

The  Forward Curve Quarterly forecasts gas production in the dry Marcellus to reach as much as 14 Bcf/d by 2017.  The Utica is forecast to produce 1.7 Bcf/d by 2017.  The increase in natural gas supply from the Northeast will ultimately lead the region to become a seasonal net exporter as soon as 2015.  Follow new developments in U.S. natural gas production with BENTEK's Forward Curve Quarterly.
