HRPBC Teams Up with the Competitive Edge Series to Help HR Professionals in Transition
The Human Resources Assoc. of Palm Beach County, (HRPBC), and the Competitive Edge Series, have joined forces to help spread the word within South Florida's Human Resource community about advanced job search tools extended to H.R. in transition.
HRPBC was founded in 1966 as the Personnel Association of Palm Beach County. Over 40 years later, HRPBC is the largest SHRM-affiliated Chapter in Florida, with over 500 members.
SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management, is the world’s largest association devoted to the advancement of the human resources profession. SHRM was founded in 1948 and has consistently advocated on behalf of human resources professionals and the issues important to their organizations.
Since the late 1990's, SHRM has distinguished HRPBC each year with the Superior Merit Award. The accomplishments achieved by HRPBC each year to be eligible for the award focus on both advancing the HR profession and serving the HR professional. Both accomplishments are an integral part of HRPBC’s and SHRM’s mission.
