The Doyle Collection To Focus On Expanding London Hotels Presence

Sept. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Following a review of its global hotel portfolio, luxury hotel group, The Doyle Collection has made a strategic decision to focus on large wholly owned and operated luxury hotel properties in attractive major city locations.  This will ensure that the resulting portfolio of luxury select hotels can maintain their unique and contrasting characters, but delivered in a uniform sense of understated, memorable luxury.

As a result of this, the Group has placed two of its hotels in Washington DC on the market, through its agents, CBRE. The hotels in question are The Marriott Courtyard Hotel (147 bedrooms) and The Normandy Hotel (75 bedrooms).  The Group will retain The Dupont Circle Hotel (327 bedrooms) in Washington DC which is completely in keeping with the Group’s strategy.

The Doyle Collection is interested in expanding its presence selectively in major capital cities such as London for example, where it currently owns and operates three large luxury hotels, The Bloomsbury, The Kensington and The Marylebone.
