T.A.G. (The Almighty Grind) Tapped to Headline Major Amateur Offroad Supershow

Sept. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- They call it the desert ocean. It’s a strip of land stretching east from Palmdale, California all the way to the outskirts of the California/ Arizona Border. And, on Friday, September 28th, 2012, it’s all going to merge into one big off-road event that’s sure to stir up the dust devils for miles around. It’s the first annual Race and Rock off-road supershow sponsored by Daddy’s Famous Foods, and its premiere will play host to a number of prolific local bands, most notably The Almighty Grind, veterans of the hard rock/action sports genre.

The show is open to all riders, both amateur and professional alike, and includes three full days of races, stunt driving, live entertainment and family fun. Bands will play throughout the day as the show meanders through a number of different events where participants will get the opportunity to compete with one another in a variety of challenging courses. Prizes will be awarded based on point accumulation and performance. The event culminates on the first day with The Almighty Grind hitting the stage that evening to perform some of their most memorable songs, most of which have been featured in television shows, motion pictures, and video games.

As lead singer A.D.S. notes, “Our band has always been involved, in one way or another, with the action sports community. Being included in a unique event like this is something we’ve always looked forward to as a band, and we’re happy to support Daddy’s Famous Foods and many of the other sponsors who will be lending their time and efforts to the success of this event.”
