Eurostar Pushes Price Offer in First AMV BBDO Ads
Eurostar, a high speed passenger train has lunched its first advertising campaign from newly appointed pan European Creative Agency, AMV BBDO.
The new promotion campaign has pushed Eurostar sales by giving £10 discount on Eurostar tickets to Brussels and Paris. Now, travelers can book tickets from just £50 to Brussels and Paris by 15 of September for travel between 18 September and 19 of December 2012. The new ticket prices are in the promotion from 4th of September.
The UK focused campaign is majorly planned for cultural exchange between the UK, France and Belgium (http://www.londontobrussels.co.uk ).
There are four creative treatments that inspire passengers to “Bring something interesting back” from their trip. It includes:
The City Taxi – Invented in Paris in 1640
Cricket – First played in Belgium in 1933
The Bra – Invented in Paris in 1889
The Little Black Dress – First seen in Paris in 1926
Arena Media, the campaign planner will launch via Tubecar Panels and 48 sheets across Overground railway stations, followed by crosstrack projections, designed to reach the target audience during their daily commute.
“This campaign is about inspiring our passengers to take a new look at all that our destinations have to offer. By playing on the heritage of iconic inventions which connect France, Belgium and the UK, we are inviting our customers to explore further with us and bring something interesting back from their trip”. AMV BBDO was appointed as Eurostar’s lead creative agency in February this year, in partnership with CLM BBDO, which takes responsibility for activation in France and Belgium.
