After suffering through a divorce, children live with lingering fears about their own ability to commit to relationships. Children and parents experience divorce differently. The effects of the divorce for children often continues for decades. They are long-lasting, profound, and cumulative. Through documentary interviews with divorced parents, children, therapists, judges and educators, from around the world, this podcast will try to find an answer to a question: what are the best ways for a family to avoid divorce in the interest of their kids. The show originates in Monterey Bay area of California, with a goal of expanding to talk radio stations around the world. It is produced by Dusan Tatomirovic, who is solely responsible for the content and accuracy. In this, inaugural, episode you can hear: - Costa's opinion on father's obligations and his position on the state of marriage in the US; - from Dr. Ludwig Lowenstein - President of the International Council of Psychologists, and a member of the American Psychological Association and British Psychological Society - who will tell us if Parental Alienation really exists; - how an author, animator, television producer, comedy writer and computer geek Stan Hayward finally heard from his daughter after 20 years; - marriage and family therapist Pauline preach from her pulpit about her own soul searching on possible advantages of divorce; - from Dušan, who will try to put all of that in a global perspective.
