FIRST OF NINE FAITH AND FAMILY FILMS COMING SOON TO THEATER & DVD LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 28, 2012) – “I am Gabriel,” directed by Mike Norris is an inspirational family drama starring Dean Cain (Superman from “Lois & Clark”), John Schneider (“Smallville,” “I am Gabriel” is a story of miracles, hope and the power of prayer. The faith-based movie takes place in Promise, Texas, an economically dry and dying town with little hope of relief until a boy (played by Casalegno) mysteriously appears. The sheriff (played by Cain) investigates the boy to uncover the identity of the mysterious stranger and the miracles that follow him. His new caretakers (played by Baughman and Scott) are quick to accept the boy’s usage of his prayer mat to talk with God and convince the town he is good. Small-town news reporter Monroe (played by Gotzon) is determined to use these miracle stories to catapult her career for big-time Dallas Morning Freedom all until the death of the town’s doctor (played by Schneider). Cast includes Texas locals: Mike Norris, Rebekah Kennedy, Becky Turner, Lynette Elliott, Stephanie Peterson, Greta Norris, Benjamin Dane and exec produced by Steve and Jan Thompson owners of Mom’s Café in Justin, TX where the movie was filmed. “Jenn Gotzon is an amazing actress who brings joy and talent to her work,” states the film's director Mike Norris. “I Am Gabriel” is the first of nine family entertainment, faith-based movies and/or values-enriched redemptive films, Gotzon stars as a main character coming soon to theater 2012 &13.
