By: Keith Lyle Back in February, Lyle had the most online votes in the Improv Comedy Club's prestigious “Up Yours” contest. A short time later, he broke off his tour of comedy clubs to make his first trip overseas to entertain the troops in Kuwait. “It was an honor and a privilege to try and bring some humor to our hard working heroes,” said Lyle. “I found it to be an experience like no other. I'm proud to do my part.” Lyle is looking forward to come back to Las Vegas. “I've lived in Vegas for 19 years,” said Lyle. “It's a wonderful place to call home. And Big Al's Comedy Club is a fantastic venue with a great crowd.” The Las Vegas experience will be a far cry from his recent adventure in the Middle East. “It starts when you get off the plane in the airport,” Lyle commented. “I was scared. All I saw were ninjas. Dressed head to toe in black and all you could see were eyes. Turns out, that's how they dress their women. And some of their public toilets don't have commodes. You literally have to 'cop a squat'.” Adding to Lyle's whirlwind year is the release of the documentary film “Finding the Funny” (http://www.findingthefunnymovie.com). The movie is a debate on the controversial subject of whether being funny is natural or can be taught. Lyle is featured throughout the film. “I love documentaries, and this subject is close to my heart. You don't have to be a big comedy fan to like this film,” said Lyle. “John Bizarre did a great job directing.” Lyle is coming to Big Al's Comedy Club at the Orleans Casino(http://www.orleanscasino.com/ End
