Sept. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Stacking fishing rods in the back of your SUV, Jeep or pickup truck is no way to treat expensive tackle. They can get tangled, roll over, and end up damaged. And they look messy, too.

Here’s an easy plan for a ceiling mount rod holder.  LoopRope® as your horizontal rod rack is your remedy. LoopRope® is made of one continuous piece of shock cord fastened together to create permanent loops.  LoopRope® comes in 3, 4, and 5-foot lengths. Each LoopRope® comes with two dual-sided, stainless steel LoopClips®.  One 5-foot LoopRope® gives you 10 custom tie-down lengths and over 18 attachment points.
LoopRope® accommodates eight rods and reels and is designed for ceiling mounting. This is a quick project—it might take you ten minutes—but can save many future headaches and broken rods.

1. You will need two LoopRopes.

2.  Depending upon width of your vehicle will determine length of LoopRope (3, 4, 5 ft)

3.  Loop the ends of the LoopRope securely around passenger side roof grab handle.

4.  Pull tight.

5.  Stretch to the other side of your vehicle and loop through the driver side roof grab handle.

6.  Stretch another LoopRope through the rear garment hooks following the same procedure as you did for the roof grab handles.

7.  Slide tip of pole through the front LoopRope so tip face the windshield.

8.  Slide fishing rod handle through rear garment hook loops.

9.  Slide and repeat for each rod.

10.  Hold eight rods and reels.

Vuala!  Ceiling mount rod holder.

About LoopRope, LLC:
Founded in 2009 by Jeff Dahl in Medford, Oregon, parent company LoopRope LLC was conceived out of frustration and need. A regular guy with guy-gear who makes the occasional dump run, Dahl is not inclined to tie knots, and bungee cords are simply too messy, unreliable and dangerous to use. After much research and multiple prototypes, Dahl invented the LoopRope; made of one continuous piece of shock cord fastened together to create permanent loops.  Now patented, LoopRope comes in a variety of lengths, names and niche-market configurations. Each BuoyRope or LoopRope comes with two dual-sided, stainless steel carabiners aka LoopClips.  One 5-foot tie-down gives you 10 custom tie-down lengths and over 18 attachment points. Video demos are available on the website.  www.looprope.com   The company can be reached via USPS at 588 Parsons Street, #E, Medford, OR 97501; via phone at (541) 770-5667, or via email at info@looprope.com.
