Follow on Google News | Race Day to raise funds for Young EpilepsyLingfield residents are invited to enjoy a day at the races in support of locally based charity, Young Epilepsy, on Friday, 21 September 2012.
By: Young Epilepsy Young Epilepsy’s campus, based on St Piers Lane, includes a school, college and medical centre. Their education, medical and national services are available to all 112,000 children and young people aged 25 and under living with epilepsy in the UK today. Young Epilepsy’s, Director of Fundraising and Marketing, Lisa Farmer, said: “The Young Epilepsy race day at Lingfield Park Racecourse should be a fantastic event. We hope to see many of our neighbours and local residents there on the day. “All money raised on the day will help us continue our work in creating better futures for young lives with epilepsy, both locally and further afield.” Epilepsy effects over 112,000 children and young people aged 25 and under, and is the most common neurological condition in the UK.
