PRLog -- With alarmingly increasing rates of obesity throughout the United Kingdom and other countries in the world, it is extremely important to consider your weight management. With the obesity rates rising, the health implications are only going to become more common, and stress the costs of the NHS. It is already estimated that the cost of obesity to the NHS is approximately £1billion per year, therefore it is important for yourself and others that we try to be as healthy as we can. Exercise and diet are significant when controlling an individual’s weight, it is recommended that people take part in at least 30 minutes physical activity 5 times per week and eat 5 portions of fruit and vegetables per day. You can help yourself by replacing certain unhealthy foods/drinks with healthier options, such as healthy hot beverages. Instead of consuming full fat milk why not try semi skimmed or skimmed milk, furthermore replace dairy chocolate with a healthier dark chocolate which scientists say is good for the heart, please consume responsible amounts. There are numerous diets that can be found online which are worth giving a go to lose those all important calories, moreover although it is hard to fit in time for exercise with work, having kids, and having other commitments, try and join a gym and work out there a few times a week, or if the expense is a problem then perhaps join a local running club with a friend.
