| Has the US made one huge prearranged marriage to Mitt Romney?Has the US made a prearranged marriage to Mitt Romney? Few people seem to love Romney but they are planning on voting for him anyway as an "Anyone but Obama" vote. So why cast a "NoBama" vote when the Constitution Party candidate is viable?
By: Special Guests For millennia parents in many nations and cultures have predetermined who their children would marry, long before puberty. Clearly the child didn't have a romantic love for their mate but they learned to love him or her over time. So, is voting for Romney like entering into a prearranged marriage? Such seems to be the case. Willard Mitt Romney is a man no one seems to really like all that much, but as in a prearranged marriage, Romney's millions of GOP 'mates' are beginning to stop holding their collective noses and succumbing to the likely inevitability of being 'married' to Mitt, with the full blessing of his other wife and potential First Lady. And, no, this isn't a Mormon thing. This is a pragmatic thing: Better to marry Mitt than to be burned again by Obama. We've all heard it before, "Anyone but Obama," and that mantra has taken hold of a nation's collective consciousness to the point where it is all pointing to a mass marriage to Mitt in November, where a nation can try to grow to love him--over time. So, is this as good as it gets? Oh, there are other candidates, but they are considered long shots from 'fringe' parties like the Constitution Party and their champion, Virgil Goode (pronounced ooh, with a silent e), a 6-term conservative congressman from Virginia. And there's Tom Hoefling, the presidential candidate from America's Party. Both are such staunch conservatives they not only make Mitt Romney blush but they make him look downright pink. Oh, you've never heard of either conservative candidate before? No surprise here. They weren't included in the two-party debates so they hardly exist in the minds of Americans. And that presents an interesting scenario. What would happen if voters actually knew they had not one but two principled candidates to choose from, but neither from a major political party? After all, they not ecstatic with voting for Romney but they feel terribly let down by Obama. So could it be that the sheeple might actually break away from the comfort of the herd? Not that hard, actually, when they are not at all comfortable with either candidate anyway. No love lost here, if you will. Think about it. The political landscape is quite similar to that of the 1860 Presidential elections. The new Republican Party was considered 'fringe' back then, having never won a race for President before. Worse still, the best they had to offer that year was a gangly, awkward tall man named Abe Lincoln who wasn't even on the ballot in all U.S. states and didn't even campaign in the South. Yet, as history records, the lanky, self-educated attorney won and is considered by many historians to be the best U.S. President in the history of our Republic. So, can lightening strike twice? Can a Third Party candidate win in 2012? It doesn't look all that likely in the natural. But we've all seen the instant, seemingly bipolar, surges and crashes of candidates during the primary election debates so it certainly is possible to see a last minute surge to the finish line, leaving us with a virtual unknown, as President of the United States. So, if the mantra of "Anyone but Obama" still rings true, perhaps 2012 will neither be the end of the world nor the beginning of a bad marriage. Instead, it may just be the long overdue end of the two Party political system that has all but destroyed our once great nation. 4 minute video on this topic: http://youtu.be/ More videos on our home page: http://www.CleanTV.com End
