The Lander Pet Connection And How You Can Help

The Lander Pet Connection is always grateful for the help we receive, if you are looking to make a donation or volunteer her are some ways you can help.

Aug. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- There are many ways volunteers can make life happier and healthier for the pets in our care.

If you have a little time, why not take a dog for a walk?  Spending days or weeks in a small pen can be very depressing.  Just an occasional outing with a friendly human can turn a dreary day into a fun one.

You can make an even bigger difference if you can foster a dog or a cat for a few weeks.  Being with a family or special friend, even temporarily, can make a huge difference.  Just a little time and attention can instill basic manners and make a pet more adoptable.  Here is a story that aired on K2 news about fostering Lander Pet Connection animals.

We also need volunteers to commit to taking a dog to obedience class for a seven week period.  We also need individuals to assist with fundraising, place flyers around town and suggest ways to increase awareness of our organization and the pets who need to be placed in loving homes.

If you think that you might be able to spare just a little time for a lonely animal, please email us at info@landerpets.org or call us at 307-330-5200.
