Post-Baccalaureate Attendees from the National Institute of Health Learn about Life & HIV Awareness

July 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Award-winning HIV/AIDS activist, philanthropist, motivational speaker, and founder & CEO of POZitive Impact, LLC, Christopher Barnhill is changing the face of activism. At the age of 16 Christopher discovered that he was infected at birth with HIV. This motivated him to dedicate his life’s mission to promote HIV/AIDS and personal awareness. Christopher has spent the last 8 years speaking publicly to audiences of 100 to 10,000 about the impact and responsibility of being positive.

Besides his life dedication to AIDS awareness, Christopher has also dedicated his life to community activism. Christopher has presented and worked alongside note-worthy individuals like Alicia Keys, Bono, and Bill Gates.  In the past year, Christopher’s determination and desire has thrust him into the spotlight. Christopher has become the National Spokes model for The National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Organization (NBHAAD). He also has been featured in the International AIDS Society Documentary "Passing the Torch", and received "The Next Generation Award" from Metro Weekly.  He has also been a guest on BETs 106&Park.

NIH’s mission is to seek fundamental knowledge about the nature and behavior of living systems and the application of that knowledge to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce the burdens of illness and disability.
