Leading-Edge Technology Lab Set To Debut at Createasphere's Fall Expo

First-of-its-kind, Walk-through Pavilion Demonstrates the Digital Process Workflow from Capture to Archive

July 26, 2012 - PRLog -- (Burbank, CA)  Createasphere and its partners will unveil the first-ever Digital Process Workflow (DPW) Lab at the fall edition of the Entertainment Technology Expo at the Burbank Marriott, November 7-8, 2012.

The DPW Lab will be a curated, walk-through demonstration of the digital workflow ecosystem and the processes that define how content is created, distributed and archived today and in the near future. Premier partners include DELL, ARRI, Technicolor, Adobe, 5th Kind, FilmLight, Signiant, Levels Beyond, Quantum, Codex, American Cinema Editors and many other partners and associations at the forefront of innovation for the crucial stages of the digital workflow. These partners will be on hand to answer questions and showcase the latest in production strategies and digital workflow solutions.

Content creators from motion pictures and television, post production teams, technologists and ancillary support service providers who attend the DPW Lab will be guided through each step of the digital workflow by representatives from participating partner companies and associations working at the leading edge of technology, innovation and media.

"We've created a pavilion of authorities who are redefining the digital workflow from capture through post to archive, exhibition and home and mobile distribution. This will provide our audience with a clear understanding of the systems," says Brian Randall, Group Vice President of Createasphere. "The DPW Lab will take each attendee through the new digital process with a walking map, detailed information and hands-on demonstrations. Industry professionals will walk away inspired by new ideas and a greater understanding of the management, transformation and monetization of content."

The complete list of partner companies will be announced soon, along with keynote speakers, alliances with industry organizations and other initiatives that will make the DPW Lab a breakthrough event.

Randall adds, "Experimentation and innovation continually drive this industry to new levels, but understanding all the touch points that affect how content is created, changed, managed and distributed becomes more and more complex and expensive. This event will help attendees make some concrete decisions and get a better understanding of where we are as a creative and technical community today...and where we are going."
