GetMed Urgent Care Plans October Move to Fountains Center in Boca Raton

July 23, 2012 - PRLog -- BOCA RATON, Fla. – GetMed Urgent Care has signed a 10-year lease for 5,000 square feet at Fountains Center, an office and retail park in Boca Raton. The start-up company will occupy Suite 102 at 7600 West Camino Real.

One of seven buildings at Fountains Center, the 7600 building is an 11,452-square-foot, single-story retail property located immediately to the right of Fountain Center’s custom-designed brick paver entranceway.

Providing urgent care medical services, immediate walk-in care for non-life threatening injuries and illnesses, and preventive care, GetMed will have a physician on site seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. No appointments will be necessary.

Among GetMed Urgent Care’s services will be school and sports physicals, flu shots, EKGs, digital x-rays, minor surgical procedures, and lab work, including drug and alcohol screening. The company will treat colds, flu or viral illness; bronchitis and pneumonia; and injuries such as sprains, cuts, abrasions, scrapes, burns and broken bones.

“The intent is to offer a friendly, caring and clean environment focused on quality care, customer service and time efficiency,” said double-boarded Internal Medicine and Pediatric physician, Dr. Lata Shintre, founder and lead physician with GetMed Urgent Care.

GetMed Urgent Care heard about Fountains Center from Altius Healthcare Group, a healthcare consulting firm focused on providing strategic planning, business development and operational support services to healthcare companies, based in Boca Raton.

Ayal Frist with the Boca Raton-based commercial real estate brokerage firm Stateland Brown leased out the space. The landlord is Boca Medical Plaza, LLC, an investor group that acquired the mixed-use center (then known as The Fountains at Camino) in February. The center subsequently underwent a name change to Fountains Center and major improvements are in progress.
