Poets at the Dylan Thomas Centre with Adam Sillman and Rhys Owain Williams

July 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Adam Sillman and Rhys Owain Williams headline Poets at the DTC on Thursday, 26 July at 7.30pm.

This special double header celebrates a new series of chapbooks published under the banner of Mozart’s spoken word night in Uplands, Swansea.

The Crunch Poets Volume 1 features Crunch co-founder, Adam Sillman, alongside another Swansea poet with a growing reputation, Rhys Owain Williams.

The evening also includes an open mic session.

Meanwhile, throughout the summer, the Dylan Thomas exhibition will have a special section devoted to Under Milk Wood.

It includes early versions of Dylan’s “play for voices”, plus photos, artwork,  recordings, translations and even a beer mat with a quote from the play on it!

The Dylan Thomas Festival returns from 27 October to 9 November and features the Stan Tracey Quintet, Graham Hunter, Paul Durcan, Samantha Wynne Rhydderch, Nigel Jenkins,  Menna Elfyn, Ros Barber, Kevin Barry and Roshi Fernando.
