AnalytiX Mapping Manager Version 4.2 Released

Today i.e., , July 16, 2012, AnalytiX Data Services unveiled version 4.2 of its metadata- driven source- to- target mapping solution – the AnalytiX Mapping Manager Solution. The patent pending AnalytiX Mapping Manager solution automates the currently manual data mapping process by allowing business and data analysts to create mapping using drag n-and- drop techniques, organizing data mappings into project folder categories and consolidating mappings into a versioned data mapping repository which manages and tracks the data mappings through the workflow process. The (“patent pending)” versioning capability tracks all versions of the data mappings while integrating agnostically with ETL and ELT tool providers like Informatica, IBM DataStage, and Microsoft SQL Server and others  to auto-generate ETL Jobs for the industry leading ETL/ELT tool providers.  

The version 4.2 release of the Mapping Manager introduces deeper integration with ETL tools, improved performance and new features to accelerate the data mapping process. The “key” new features introduced are:
1.   Lineage Analyzer (new feature)
2.   Advanced Impact Analysis (Options to include Business  Rules, Lookups,  Source SQL Selects)
3.   Advanced Reporting and Mapping Export Options
4.   The Integration Industry’s first ETL Conversion Tool – facilitating the automatic conversion between ETL Tools.
5.   Deeper integration with ETL Tools.

AnalytiX’s founder and CTO, Mike Boggs, announced “ The version 4.2 release of the mapping manager was  primarily was primarily driven by customer- requested enhancements making the mapping process faster, delivering better insight into the mapping process, while and improving documentation around the entire processes”. The ETL Integration Library allows customers to create their own “ETL Job Design Templates” built on their own best practices and standards and ensure that when each mapping is exported from Mapping Manager it is delivered with consistently high quality based on customer job design and best practices and standards”.

Earlier this year last month Mike Boggs was quoted announced during the version release at Informatica World saying “In 2008 we launched the World’s first enterprise solution which that solves the Pre-ETL source- to- target mapping (STM) problem. Now in 2012 with our ETL Integration Library (AMM Add-On) and deeper integration with ETLtTools we are pleased to introduce the world’s first ETL Conversion Tool. Our ETL integration Library will now allow organizations to not only to standardize the mapping process and accelerate delivery of the source to target mapping process, We can now accelerate the ETL /ELT  phase and ensure a faster delivery of the ETL phase and ensure a higher quality of deliverables surrounding ETL Tools”.
