July 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Micro trenching is a relatively new technique for laying fibre optic cables. The traditional method often requires major road works with lots of digging and disruption, but with micro trenching only a small channel is required. Specialist machinery and equipment is used to cut into the road surface.

The micro trench channel is just wide enough and deep enough to lay the ducting for the fibre optic cable, once in position a unique bonding material is used to fill in the channel and return the road surface back to normal.

“There are obvious advantages to this new technique” said Ian Ashworth - Managing Director at Networx3. “The whole process is much quicker, more cost effective and vastly reduces the disruption to road users.”

Networx3 are ready to meet the demands of all your cabling needs. As a blown fibre specialist they can offer a complete solution, “There’s no need to hire multiple contractors” said Ashworth. “Networx3 can design plan and install any type of network you require.”
